CLAIMS OFFICER
Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and process insurance claims in accordance with GA Insurance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the claims process, providing updates, answering queries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Gather and analyze documentation related to claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, including liaising with external parties.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to insurance claims.
- Pursue recoveries under RI with the guidance of the Claims Manager.
- Negotiate with service providers like garages.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on claim status, trends, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial/Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Insurance claims processing.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and Communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Highest level of personal and professional integrity.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
