Farm Accountant Admin

Job Description

We are hiring on behalf of a client is looking for an Accountant to support Accounts and Administration of a Farm in Mubende. The role involves close coordination with administration, Supply Chain, Operations and Farm Management teams to ensure proper financial recording, cost tracking, and budget monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial and operational records to support transparency and effective farm management.
• Support financial oversight of daily farm operations, ensuring proper documentation, monitoring of expenditures, and adherence to internal controls.
• Maintain systems for tracking key operational data related to production, resource utilization, and movement of farm outputs.
• Oversee recordkeeping related to farm assets, equipment usage, and operational activities.
• Assist in preparing management reports on farm performance, operational costs, and budget monitoring.
• Support compliance and certification processes through structured documentation and reliable record management.

Requirements

• CPA level 1 or 2 cleared
• 2 years’ relevant experience is mandatory
• Record maintenance; Reporting; People management; Process development;
• Mandatory - Tally; MS Word; MS Excel
• Working knowledge of ERP systems will be added advantage
• Expert knowledge of accounts is mandatory
