Job Summary:

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating the monitoring and evaluation systems for Yalelo’s programs. The officer will work closely with the program team to ensure that all programs are well-planned, implemented, and monitored.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation systems for Yalelo’s programs
• Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of program activities and outcomes
• Analyze data and provide recommendations for program improvement
• Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track program progress
• Collaborate with the program team to ensure that all programs are well-planned and implemented
• Conduct research and analysis to inform program decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including donors and partners
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as monitoring and evaluation, statistics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in a non-profit or development organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with database management and data analysis software
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
