Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Officer - Programme Officer to join our team in Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building of local partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to programme implementation, including design, planning, and execution of programmes
• Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of programmes, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Build and maintain relationships with local partners, including government agencies, NGOs, and community-based organizations
• Provide capacity building support to local partners, including training and mentoring
• Develop and maintain programme reports, including narrative and financial reports
• Collaborate with other teams, including programme, operations, and finance to ensure effective programme delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, development studies, etc.)
• At least 2 years of experience in programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building of local partners
• Strong technical skills in programme design, planning, and execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with local partners
• Knowledge of Uganda's development context and local government structures is an added advantage
