Job Description
The Public Financial Management (PFM) Consultant will provide technical assistance to the Government of Uganda in the implementation of the Public Financial Management Reform Programme. The Consultant will work closely with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development to develop and implement a comprehensive PFM reform strategy. The Consultant will also provide support to the Government in the development of a PFM information system and the implementation of a PFM performance monitoring framework. The Consultant will have a strong understanding of PFM principles and practices and will be able to provide technical assistance to the Government in the areas of budget planning, budget execution, and financial reporting. The Consultant will also be responsible for providing training and capacity building to Government officials on PFM principles and practices.
