Overall purpose of the job
To Monitor mill operation through DCS and maintain mill efficiency parameters by taking appropriate steps to get good quality bagasse.
Roles And Duties
- Responsible for starting and stopping of mills in quick time by following safe procedures.
- Make sure right amount of imbibition water is applied with right temperature.
- Report to the shift engineer in case of abnormalities found in any of running equipment.
- Scrutinise the predecessor’s handover report to obtain information on the condition of the plant and make a quick physical inspection of the equipment with help of mill supervisor.
