Supply of Motor Vehicles

The Government of Uganda through National Agricultural Research Organisation allocated funds for acquisition of Motor Vehicles as mentioned:

Supply Requirements

• Lot 1: Supply of a Specialized Delivery Truck (Customised Body) - 1
• Lot 2: Supply of a Double Cabin Pick Up - 1
• Lot 3: Supply of specialised seed delivery pick Ups - 2

The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and the regulations made under the act and is open to all bidders.

Obtaining Bidding Documents

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the email provided below at [7b] from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Bidding Document with three (3) lots in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the email below at [7c] and upon payment of non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000. Payment will be made to Uganda Revenue Authority through any convenient commercial bank by obtaining a Bank Payment Advice Form from the URA website.

Bid Submission

Bids must be delivered to the address below at [7d] on or before 7th May 2026 at 11:00 am. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration for local firms and bid securities from a commercial bank recognised by the Bank of Uganda for foreign firms as mentioned below:

• Supply of One (1) Specialized Delivery Truck (Customised Body) - 10,000,000 Ugx
• Supply of One (1) Double Cabin Pick Up - 3,000,000 Ugx
• Supply of Two (2) Specialised seed delivery pick Ups - 6,000,000 Ugx

Bid securities must be valid until 2nd November 2026.

Bid Opening

Bidders should note the following:

• Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at [7e] on 7th May 2026 at 11:30 am.
• Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected.
