Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our farmers on rain-fed operations. The Agronomist will work closely with our farmers to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to increase crop yields and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and support to farmers on rain-fed operations
• Conduct regular farm visits to monitor crop health and provide recommendations
• Develop and implement strategies to improve crop yields and quality
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and address any challenges or issues
• Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices in rain-fed operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers and other stakeholders
• Provide training and capacity building to farmers on rain-fed operations
• Monitor and report on progress and outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in agronomy or related field
• Strong knowledge of rain-fed operations and crop management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel frequently to farm locations
