This role is well suited to an early career data professional who is eager to build strong foundations in investment data, analytics and reporting within an asset management environment. Working closely with senior analysts, investment teams, risk teams and technology partners, the role will contribute to ensuring data accuracy, consistency and availability across systems that support portfolio management and reporting.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of basic automated or semi‑automated validation checks for pricing, benchmarks and corporate actions.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at improving data accuracy and efficiency.

Data Infrastructure and Systems Exposure

  • Assist with data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) activities across internal and external data sources.
  • Gain exposure to investment systems and data platforms used within the business.

Collaboration and Learning

  • Work closely with technology teams, investment professionals and other stakeholders to support day‑to‑day data needs.
  • Actively participate in learning opportunities to build technical, analytical and investment‑related skills.

Who you are

You are a detail‑oriented and curious data professional with a strong interest in analytics and financial markets. You enjoy working with data, learning from experienced colleagues and contributing to high‑quality outputs in a collaborative environment.

You bring:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a data analyst, reporting or analytics role (experience in financial services or asset management would be advantageous but is not essential).
  • Foundational understanding of data quality concepts and basic data governance principles.
  • Exposure to working with structured datasets and performing data analysis or validation tasks.
  • Basic experience with data analysis tools, reporting tools or scripting/querying languages.
  • A willingness to learn and develop specialist knowledge in investment and performance data.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

The Strengths You’ll Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, reliable data.
  • Analytical thinking and a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
  • A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and learning.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to build skills and grow within the role.
