Work location: Kampala

Salary: 500,000 – 600,000 UGX per month, paid on time every month

Job Requirements

• Hold a valid driving license, proficient driving skills with rich driving experience, no major traffic accident records.
• Familiar with roads in downtown Kampala and suburban areas, know all main roads and side streets in the capital well, able to arrange reasonable routes.
• Honest, kind, trustworthy, quick-witted, strong sense of time, obedient to arrangements.
• Keep strict confidentiality of the employer’s schedule and personal affairs, no bad habits.
• Be available for irregular trips and on-call duties at any time.

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for daily transportation for the employer, including commuting, business meetings, customer visits, factory inspections and other travel arrangements.
• Deliver documents, small goods and materials as required.
• Inspect vehicle condition before and after each trip, check fuel, tyres, brakes and lights regularly.
• Keep the car interior and exterior clean and tidy at all times.
• Report any vehicle faults or abnormal conditions promptly, and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repair, and insurance matters.
• Assist with carrying luggage and goods when necessary.
• Plan driving routes reasonably to avoid traffic jams and save travel time.
• Complete other temporary errands and tasks assigned by the employer.
