Field Operator<p>.</p>The Field Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring facilities at Pumping Stations 1 and 2, as well as along the pipeline, in line with EACOP’s HSE and production objectives. The role ensures reliable operation of equipment through first-level maintenance, supports commissioning and emergency response activities, and contributes to safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Key duties include reporting anomalies, executing shutdown/start-up procedures, managing chemicals, assisting maintenance teams, and participating in safety drills among others.<p>.</p><p>In accordance with policies and procedures in place in EACOP, the Operator is responsible for:</p><ul><li>Reports procedural deviations/equipment failure and/or incidents (immediately) to the Operations Lead.</li></ul><ul><li>Takes approved remedial actions, follow procedures and standard emergency responses to limit risk to personnel, plant equipment and product inventory during emergencies.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures the control and verification of safety equipment.</li></ul><ul><li>Carries out emergency maneuvers requested by Operations Lead.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures the cleanliness of the installations.</li></ul><ul><li>Informs of any anomaly or incident and participate in their analysis.</li></ul><ul><li>Operate all units and monitor the facilities.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures the shutdown and start-up of the installations according to the operations of the site.</li></ul><ul><li>Controlling and managing chemicals.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures the reporting of the operating parameters of the various units under his responsibility.</li></ul><ul><li>Participates in the execution of interventions to optimize the functioning of the installations, according to a defined program of verification of parameters, sampling, and routine analyses.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist the maintenance teams during dismantling, reassembly, maintenance and repair of machines and equipment in the fields of mechanics, electricity, and instrumentation.</li></ul><ul><li>Team member for the Emergency Response Team, including firefighting.</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in mandatory training as and when required.</li><li>Ensures chemical injection, lubricants &amp; diesel consumption (Where applicable) is accurately measured.</li></ul><p><b>During Construction phase:</b></p><p>Core activities:</p><ul><li>Familiarization with the project documents.</li><li>Participates in the commissioning operations of the installations in particular the loop tests to adapt with the ICSS and specifically the SCADA.</li></ul><p>.</p><p>EACOP is committed to ensuring that the health, safety and welfare of workers, communities, and the environment are well addressed and managed. Therefore, the employee is mandated to:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Fully complies with Company H3SE (Health, Safety, Social, Security &amp; Environment) policies and Life Saving Rules.</li></ul><ul><li>Actively participates in HSEQ and promotes this culture to co-workers.</li></ul><ul><li>Remain vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of potential unsafe conditions.</li></ul><ul><li>Communicates to management any HSE related concerns and ways to improve them.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintains a workplace &amp; workspace that is safe, clean, and always neat – practice good housekeeping.</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare teams for emergencies.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure the implementation of corrective actions following incidents or degraded situations.</li></ul><ul><li>Reporting on operational activities and significant events and Exemplarity in behavior.</li><li>Ensure the control of technological risks and safety conditions of operations, ensure an optimum level of safety in all site activities, and respect the environment.</li></ul><br /><p><b>Academic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>High School Certificate in Math and Science subjects</li></ul><ul><li>Technical diploma in a specialty: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or internationally accredited oil &amp; gas training certificate.</li></ul><p><b>Experience Required:</b></p><ul><li>2 to 5 years of experience on major production sites. A good knowledge of processes and DCS / SCADA is essential.</li></ul><ul><li>Good level in English a requirement, both written &amp; spoken.</li></ul><ul><li>Rigorous and organized.</li></ul><ul><li>Must be familiar with IT tools (Word, Excel and other PC software), analytical, rigorous, good communication skills, pedagogical, autonomous, organized and recognized ability to lead a team.</li></ul><p>.</p><h3>If you like working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you&#39;ll enjoy your career with us!</h3>
