Job Summary

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Officer, based in Kampala. The Finance Officer will oversee financial operations, prepare and analyze financial statements, and manage financial reporting processes. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and supporting decision-making through financial insights. The Finance Officer will also ensure compliance with financial regulations and work collaboratively with other teams to maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications or Requirements

• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and conducting Financial Reporting.
• Strong Analytical Skills and a solid understanding of Finance concepts and practices.
• Excellent Communication skills to present financial insights and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Experience working in the logistics or supply chain industry is an advantage.

Experience Needed

• 2+ years of experience in Finance
