An established organisation based in Tzaneen is looking for a Financial Manager to take ownership of the finance function and partner closely with leadership to drive performance, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision-making.

This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable balancing technical accounting, operational finance, and team leadership. You’ll be at the centre of the business, influencing decisions and ensuring financial stability in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the full finance function and ensuring financial integrity
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Driving budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Managing cash flow, working capital, and financial planning
• Ensuring compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
• Strengthening financial controls, systems, and internal processes
• Leading and mentoring the finance team
• Partnering with operational leadership to support commercial decision-making
• Managing year-end processes, audits, and stakeholder reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required

• BCom Accounting / Finance (essential)
• Professional qualification advantageous (CIMA, SAIPA, SAICA articles completed, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance leadership role
• Strong technical accounting and reporting capability
• Experience managing budgets, controls, and operational finance processes
• Strong systems and advanced Excel proficiency
• Exposure to fast-paced operational environments advantageous
