Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer

Job Description: About the Role

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will provide technical support and oversight to the implementation of MEAL systems, tools and processes across the project/programme. The MEAL Officer will ensure that MEAL is mainstreamed in all project/programme activities, and that MEAL processes are aligned with World Vision's policies and procedures. The MEAL Officer will work closely with project/programme staff, partners and stakeholders to ensure that MEAL systems are effective, efficient and contribute to improved programme performance and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and oversight to the development and implementation of MEAL systems, tools and processes across the project/programme.
• Ensure that MEAL is mainstreamed in all project/programme activities and that MEAL processes are aligned with World Vision's policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement MEAL plans, frameworks and tools that meet World Vision's MEAL standards.
• Provide training and capacity building to project/programme staff and partners on MEAL systems, tools and processes.
• Ensure that MEAL data is collected, analyzed and used to inform programme decisions and improve programme performance and impact.
• Ensure that MEAL processes are participatory, inclusive and involve stakeholders, including communities and project/programme beneficiaries.
• Ensure that MEAL systems are compliant with World Vision's policies and procedures, as well as donor requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with project/programme staff, partners and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and coordination on MEAL issues.
• Provide regular MEAL reports and updates to project/programme managers and other stakeholders.
