Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations and clinical examinations.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Request, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic test results.
• Provide emergency and urgent medical care when required.
• Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Provide health education and preventive healthcare counseling.
• Refer patients requiring specialized care to appropriate facilities.
• Collaborate with nurses, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical ethics, professional standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in community health programs and health promotion activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Completed internship training.
• Valid medical registration and practicing license or eligibility for registration in Uganda.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of post-internship clinical experience.
• Experience in primary healthcare, family medicine, or general practice.
• Experience working in a private healthcare setting is an added advantage.
