Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Officer - Programme to join our team in Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing programme management support to ensure effective implementation of World Vision's programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to programme teams in the implementation of programmes
• Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) of programmes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify programme needs and develop programme proposals
• Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
• Provide capacity building support to programme staff
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, development studies, etc.)
• At least 3 years of experience in programme management or a related field
• Strong understanding of programme management principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in MEL and capacity building
• Knowledge of World Vision's policies and procedures is an added advantage.
