Title: Operator- Shrink wrap

Reporting: Executive- Production

Department: Production

Location: Mukono-Kampala

Country: Uganda

Job Purpose: Support the bottling sections in achieving maximum productivity through the operation and maintenance of high-speed, shrink wrap machines while maintaining 100% compliance with safety, quality, health, and environment.

Required Qualification

Trade certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operation of the machine
  • Execute CLTI & PM activities
  • Trouble shooting of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic break downs
  • Knowledge gaining and sharing attitude
  • Understand and comply quality requirements
  • Participation in preparation of required spares in four months advance
  • Participate in Root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans
  • Work attitude towards KPI’s
  • Hygiene and Punctual to duties
  • Ethical and honest on duties

Communication Skills

Fluent in speaking & writing English

Shop floor Experience

3-5 Years hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of high-speed, shrink wrap machines. Experience in bottling machine maintenance is an added advantage.
