Job Description

We need to output clean semantic HTML with

for intro paragraphs,

for section headers,
  • for list items. No CSS classes, no inline styles, no
    , no
. Must preserve original content word-for-word, no additions, removals, summarizing, rephrasing. So we need to parse the given raw text and produce HTML accordingly. Given raw text includes many
    tags, ,  ,
, etc. We need to extract the content and format as HTML per rules. We must preserve all original content word-for-word. That means we cannot change wording, but we can change tags. We must not add or remove any text. So we need to output the same textual content, just wrapped in appropriate tags. We need to identify sections: The raw text includes:
    Why Airtel Africa?

At Airtel Africa, we act with passion, energy, and a can-do attitude. Innovation with an entrepreneurial spirit drive us. If you like “ordinary”, then we are not for you.
We champion diversity. We anticipate, adapt, and deliver solutions that enrich the lives of communities we serve. we roll up our sleeves to win with our customers.
By choosing Airtel, you choose to be part of a winning team. All this in addition to a brilliant opportunity to build a career in your field of expertise, across our different operating companies in Africa.

Airtel Africa is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and remain fully committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

    Must have:

    • University degree in Human Resources/Social Sciences.
    • 2-3 years of solid HR knowledge specifically in compensation & benefits administration.
    • Prior compensation market pricing and salary survey completion experience.
    • Profound knowledge of labour laws as it impacts benefits administration.
    • Strong mathematical aptitude and analysis skills for analyzing and developing compensation data and recommendations.
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, multiple priorities, and demanding customers, in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment.
    • High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.

Responsible for Performing various non-complex human resources duties in compensation and benefits. Operates under moderate supervision, with some review of work in progress.

    • Implement and maintain Group Life and Medical Insurance schemes in line with Airtel Uganda policies.
    • Continuously review Airtel Uganda Benefit packages and policies to ensure competitive advantage and employee retention.
    • Staff Payroll management.
    • Deliver annual compensation benchmarking and salary structuring information for the Company.
    • Prepare Remuneration Offers whilst ensuring internal parity and external competitive advantage.
    • Provide analytical & technical support for the delivery of the company’s Compensation programs e.g. SIP.
    • Implement processes and procedures relating to performance management that are in line with the Group's performance management policy.
    • Effective relationship management with service providers.

We need to output HTML with

for intro paragraphs and general text,

for section headers (e.g., Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). Use
    • for list items. We need to decide what sections exist. The raw text includes: - Intro about Why Airtel Africa? (strong) - Paragraphs about Airtel Africa culture etc. - Statement about equal opportunity employer. - Then a paragraph "

      Must have:

      " followed by a list (qualifications/requirements). - Then a paragraph "

Responsible for Performing various non-complex human resources duties in compensation and benefits. Operates under moderate supervision, with some review of work in progress.

" followed by a list (responsibilities/duties). Thus we have sections: "Must have:" could be considered "Requirements" or "Qualifications". The list items are qualifications/requirements. The second list is responsibilities/duties. We need to use

for section headers. So we need to wrap "Must have:" as a header? The original text includes "

      Must have:

" which is a paragraph. According to rules, we should use

for section headers like Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, etc. So we should change that paragraph to

      Must have:

. Similarly, the paragraph "Responsible for Performing various non-complex human resources duties in compensation and benefits. Operates under moderate supervision, with some review of work in progress." could be a header like "Responsibilities" or "Key Duties". The original text is a sentence describing responsibilities. We could treat that as a header? The rule says use

for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). So we should convert that sentence to a header like

      Responsibilities

      or

      Key Duties

. But we must preserve original content word-for-word. Changing the text to "Responsibilities" would be altering content, which is not allowed. The rule says preserve ALL original content word-for-word — do not add, remove, summarise, or rephrase. So we cannot change the text. However, we can wrap the existing text in

tags if it is considered a section header. The original text is a sentence: "Responsible for Performing various non-complex human resources duties in compensation and benefits. Operates under moderate supervision, with some review of work in progress." That is not exactly a header like "Responsibilities", but it's a description. The rule says use

for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). It doesn't say we must only use those exact words; it says use

for section headers (e.g. those). So if the original text is a section header, we can wrap it in

. The original text is a sentence describing responsibilities; it could be considered a section header (like "Responsibilities"). But we must not change the wording. So we can wrap that sentence in

tags. Similarly, the "Must have:" paragraph could be wrapped in

      tags. Thus we will output:

      Why Airtel Africa?

(the strong tag originally; we need to preserve the text "Why Airtel Africa?" but we can drop the and just use

      Why Airtel Africa?

. The original had Why Airtel Africa?. We must preserve the text word-for-word: "Why Airtel Africa?" (including the question mark). The strong tag is formatting; we can drop it as we are converting to semantic HTML. The rule says preserve ALL original content word-for-word — do not add, remove, summarise, or rephrase. Does removing the tag count as removing content? It's removing markup, not textual content. The textual content is "Why Airtel Africa?" which we keep. So it's okay. Similarly, we need to handle   and
tags: we must preserve the content word-for-word, but we are not to use
tags in output. So we need to remove
and   but preserve the textual content they represent?   is a non-breaking space; we can replace with a regular space. That's altering content? It's a character entity; we can convert to a space. The rule says preserve ALL original content word-for-word — do not add, remove, summarise, or rephrase. Changing   to a space is altering the character entity, but the visual result is same. However, strictly speaking, it's not the same character sequence. But likely acceptable as we are outputting HTML and we cannot use  ? The rule says no
tags, but doesn't forbid  . However, we should avoid using   because it's not needed. But to be safe, we could keep   as is? The rule says no
tags, but doesn't forbid  . However, we should avoid using
tags;   is okay. But we also need to avoid
tags. We can keep   as is inside text nodes. However, the output should be clean semantic HTML; we can keep   as a character entity. But we also have
tags that we must not use. So we need to remove them and maybe replace with nothing or a space? The original had
and   for spacing. We can just omit them, as they are just formatting. The textual content does not depend on them. So we can drop them. Thus we need to extract the textual content from the given HTML, ignoring tags like
      ,
, ,  , and then wrap appropriate parts in

      ,

      ,
      • . We must preserve the textual content exactly as appears, including punctuation and spacing. We need to be careful about spaces: The original had leading   before some sentences. For example: "
At Airtel Africa, we act with passion, energy, and a can-do attitude....". That includes a non-breaking space before "At". If we drop the   we lose that leading space. But leading spaces are not significant in HTML rendering; but to preserve word-for-word, we might need to keep a space. However, we can keep a regular space. The original had a non-breaking space; we can replace with a regular space. That's a change but likely acceptable. Better approach: Extract the text nodes, preserving spaces as they appear in the rendered text (collapsing multiple spaces?). But the rule says preserve ALL original content word-for-word. That is ambiguous regarding HTML entities. I think we can treat the textual content as the visible text, ignoring markup. So we can output the visible text with normal spaces. Thus we will produce:

        Why Airtel Africa?

At Airtel Africa, we act with passion, energy, and a can-do attitude. Innovation with an entrepreneurial spirit drive us. If you like “ordinary”, then we are not for you.

We need to ensure we didn't add or remove any textual content. Let's verify each piece. Original text blocks: 1. "Why Airtel Africa?" -> text: "Why Airtel Africa?" (we used as h4) 2. "

        " -> empty spacing, we omitted. 3. "
At Airtel Africa, we act with passion, energy, and a can-do attitude. Innovation with an entrepreneurial spirit drive us. If you like “ordinary”, then we are not for you.
" -> text: "At Airtel Africa, we act with passion, energy, and a can-do attitude. Innovation with an entrepreneurial spirit drive us. If you like “ordinary”, then we are not for you." (we used as p) 4. "

" -> text: "Airtel Africa is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and remain fully committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace." (we used as h4) 8. "

        Must have:

" -> text: "Must have:" (we used as h4) 9.
list items: we kept them as
        • inside
. Need to ensure we preserved the text exactly, including the ampersand entity & and the trailing

inside the last li. The original last li: "
          • High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.

          • " The text includes "High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality." followed by

. The visible text is just "High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality." The

is just spacing. We omitted them, leaving just the sentence. That's okay; we didn't remove any visible text. However, we removed the

which is not visible text. So fine. But we also need to preserve the ampersand entity & in the second li: "2-3 years of solid HR knowledge specifically in compensation & benefits administration." We kept & as is. Good. 10. "

Responsible for Performing various non-complex human resources duties in compensation and benefits. Operates under moderate supervision, with some review of work in progress.

" -> text: "Responsible for Performing various non-complex human resources duties in compensation and benefits. Operates under moderate supervision, with some review of work in progress." (we used as h4) 11. Second
list items: we kept them as
            • . The last li: "
            • Effective relationship management with service providers.

            • " -> visible text: "Effective relationship management with service providers." We omitted the

. Thus all visible text preserved. Now we need to ensure we didn't inadvertently add any extra text like spaces or punctuation. We need to check each output line for exact match. Let's reconstruct the output exactly as we intend, with line breaks for readability but not required. The output must be only HTML, no extra text. We'll produce:
