As a Programme Officer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and monitoring of programs to ensure they are effective, efficient, and meet the needs of the communities we serve. This position requires a strong understanding of development principles, program management, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor programs according to World Vision's and donors' policies and procedures.
- Ensure programs are aligned with World Vision's strategic objectives and stakeholders' expectations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with communities, local partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to program staff.
- Analyze program data to inform decision-making and improve program effectiveness.
- Prepare and manage program budgets, reports, and other documents as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in program management, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
- Strong understanding of development principles, including community engagement, capacity building, and sustainability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
