Country: Uganda

Job Purpose

Support the bottling and utility sections in achieving maximum productivity by carrying out Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown maintenance of Refrigeration, HVAC systems, and Coolers under the supervision of the Engineer – Mechanical, while maintaining 100% compliance with safety, health, and environment.

Required Qualification

  • Trade certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration/Mechanical Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute CLTI & PM activities
  • Knowledge gaining and sharing attitude
  • Understand and comply with environment requirements
  • Preparation of required spares in four months advance
  • Log book maintenance on activities and spares consumption shift-wise
  • Do the Root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans
  • Work attitude towards KPI’s
  • Hygiene and Punctual to duties
  • Ethical and honest on duties

Communication Skills

  • Fluent in speaking & writing English

Shop floor Experience

  • 3-4 Years hands-on experience on the operation and troubleshooting of Ammonia refrigeration chillers, Split ACs, Cold rooms, AHUs, and bottle coolers
  • Minimum knowledge of electrical systems shall be an added advantage
