The Cash & Banking Clerk position involves processing reconciliations of cash deposits to cash tendered and handling customer queries related to cash and banking. The role requires accurate handling of store and customer inquiries, verifying cash transactions, and ensuring financial records are up to date.
Key responsibilities include reconciling cash deposits, following up on discrepancies, reporting unreconciled transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. The position demands adherence to company policies, PCI, FICA, and POPIA guidelines.
Qualifications required are a Grade 12 or Matriculation diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Essential skills include Microsoft 365 and Excel proficiency, with experience in financial or administrative roles being beneficial. Knowledge of SAP and POS cash reconciliation processes is preferred.
