Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities>Undertakes planned, preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on Plant Electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Executes maintenance schedules in accordance with the Asset Care Plan, performs fault finding, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on electrical systems and equipment. Conducts risk assessments and adheres to all safety, health, and environmental requirements before commencing work. Participates in standby duties and responds promptly to plant breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
Requirements>National craft certificate in Electrical Engineering, 4 years apprenticeship or National Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Class 1 Trade tested Heavy industry or mining environment High Tension cables, switchgear, transformers and instrumentation AC and DC drives, Precaps’, AC and DC motors. Maintenance systems.
