We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Full-Time Experienced Sales Representative to join our small, growing but ambitious team. You will play a key role in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and representing our brand professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and acquire new customers (retail outlets, small restaurants, cafes, caterers, potentially direct consumers) within Dar es Salaam and environs.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat orders.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiation: Effectively present our range of frozen food products, highlight benefits, and negotiate sales terms/prices suitable for our small business model.
- Order Processing & Follow-Up: Accurately take customer orders, liaise with operations for fulfillment, and ensure timely delivery coordination. Follow up post-delivery for satisfaction and re-orders.
- Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from customers on products, pricing, and competition. Report market trends and competitor activity to management.
- Reasonable Sales Targets: Meet or exceed agreed-upon weekly/monthly sales targets.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline using provided tools (e.g., simple CRM, spreadsheets, Zoho CRM).
- Brand Representation: Represent the company professionally and positively at all times.
